Mountain ridge trail resort aka"QUADFEST"

It was in the newspaper but, MRTR is shut down! Aparently the PADEP shut them down because they didn't have the proper permits! As their website states, they have applied for the permits but, they need time for the approval. What gets me, They have had 2 QuadFest events there 2 years in a row but it took the DEP this long to shut them down? I'm confused !!!! Unless there was a Pi$$ed off neighbor that had a hard-on for them and complained! It just goes to show that it takes just "1" A$$Hole to spoil a legit, legal, family oriented place to ride!

I agree! It seems like it's easier to bust the guys on the quads and dirtbikes than go into a crime infested town like Camden or Trenton and make it a little safer ! PU$$IES !

so they wont have Quadfest there anymore ? is it shut down forever ? that would be a terrible shame ,I loved Quadfest and plan to attend every year

From what their website stated, The PaDEP requires them to have certain permits and they are in the process of aquiring them. So they must shut down til they are approved. I hope that they continue to have Quadfest, it was a blast!

Funny though, The DEP probably shut them down for the excessive dust during the drag races! LOL!

Mountain Ridge already has the ball rolling. According to their website, The paperwork has been in the works, They just need time. Once the paperwork goes thru, They said there will be a 60 day review period. They are planning on being open by the 1st of the year! All politics, go figure! It never fails, you have a great place to ride and some political prick has to get his hands into a good thing! They donated over $60,000 back into the community from the money they generated from QuadFest! I guess that's not good enough! The Government is so god-damn GREEDY!
