Riding in Jersey just plain sucks, it's either too crowded or too illegal and the cops chase you out. I used to ride in Shamokin, PA but now thats closed off. Paragon Adventure Park in Hazleton. PA is ok but its geared more for 4x4s. It seems like every good place to ride someone else screws up for the rest of us. If you find a good place let me know because I also live in Jersey.

Heck if you're going to Paragon from Jersey you might as well just head south on 81 and stop by Rausch Creek. I've never been to Paragon but I've lived and ridden all around it. I think it's probably a waste of money to go there. There's much better trails all around it.

I realize that this is an old thread, but I just joined Tower City Trailriders its located by Rausch Creek and has over 900 acres of the most diverse terrain that I've ever seen!

hey, if you find my skid plate up there, let me know. I think it's hanging off a jaged rock.

Yeah, its rocky up there...I ruined a almost new ITP rear 4 ply tire when a rock went through my side wall. I am now using 6 ply tires all around.

I've never been there, but I know what that whole area is like there in eastern PA. I'd like to go there sometime to see what it's all about.

Let me know when you would like to go...I'm a member and I can bring guests. I believe that Tower City Trailriders, Inc. leases the land from Rausch Creek which is right down the road. I see that you're from Tamaqua, that is very far from me, I'm in Bucks County. Skid plates and at least 4 ply tires are a definate need when you ride at Tower City, along with an extra set of riding gear. You will get dirty!

ride at tower city, its pretty cheap and you can ride forever and just get lost in there, they have everything its a little rocky though so get your skids and my triple rates have proven to be quite nice, stock shee suspension sucks, your gonna get tossed around a little.
