Going there tomorrow and it's going to be freezing cold.
I'm not too familiar with this area, can anyone drop me some info?
What to look for, stuff to climb, trails to ride? Looking for a large open area to line it up with my friends!

Never been there but I hear good things about it. Let us know how it is. I hear there are alot of old mines out there too that can do some damage to a guy and/or his bike

I heard those stories while I was out there. Wells 10 ft wide enough to swallow three riders at a time.
Didn't see any though.. We took far desert trail Ride. Hit the climbs & some nice sand pits too!
Left a arm took a good hit on a rock but held up well, another excuse to visit the powdercoater!!
We hit some jumps too and it hit me back.. Wen't tipsy on one landing.\

I now need to completely eliminate 1st gear, there's no use for it other than dumping me on my ass lol!!
Practiced my launch & ride out on that dry lake.. Some areas are still moist so the knobbs hook like a mofo!!!
Scary feeling for a 3rd gear wheelie to drop then all of a sudden just grab the turf.
Kinda felt like street riding!
I have a few pics & short run vids to post later. I need dinner now!!

You can see they toyhaulers all the way back. You can park & ride anywhere.
We parked close, made a left 1 mile up where it's flat. Took a ride up those mountains later in the day.



The flat stretch goes on for miles. I saw as many as 15 bikes/quads lining up at the drags.

This is what we're riding on. Some areas were still a bit moist so hookup was good.
Other areas were way too soft.. A few times thought I had flat and seemed to think that everytime I passed by this certain area.
Turns out I was sinking, though dry up top there was still fresh mud under.. Damn!!
Jammin thru the gears, we would find ourselves crossing over these black lines.
We pulled over to see what it was, turns out they were deep cracks 2 ft wide.
They just looked small in 6th gear lol.. We were just skating right over em!!!!!!

From top of the mountains.. Dust from the drags is visible.
