Iowa riding

i live in omaha, went ridin in council bluffs yesterday. right under the L street bridge out of omaha... not the best, but its better than nothin, there are some jumps, trails and an open area where you can race

i live in sheffield, about 20 miles south of mason city. i talked to a buddy of mine yesterday anbout atv parks in iowa. he has been to waterloo and fort dodge. i'm looking at getting a friends together and trying 1 of these places out. My buddy said to go to waterloo first. it's more developed he said. i work every other weekend, and right now i'm waiting for some warm weather..

theres a place by solon, iowa thats not too bad. Also heard of a place by keokuk thats suppose to be pretty good. There both in the eastern part of the state though

The Mitchell Avenue Sand Pits in Waterloo has a couple fun tracks, but they are very narrow. There are some descent trails along the river and there is a big mound of dirt that is fun to piss around on. I was there on Sunday and the tracks were dry, but there is some standing water on the trails.

Bluff Creek in Bussey (near Oskaloosa) is a burnt out coal mine that is a great place to ride. There are some nice wide tracks and a lot of hill climbs. The trails are fun, but are pretty rough.

I am from Cedar Falls, so I go to Waterloo more often, but I love to go down to bussey. There are some pictures of both on my profile album here and a couple videos on youtube.
