red sticker on a banshee? wtf! stupid dmv!

ok guys.... i havnt been on in a little cause i have been soooooo busy with work! ... n e ways.... about two weeks ago, the registration for my banshee showed up in the mail.... its that time of the year again..... and i payed it like i always do...... then..... today, when i got home....... there was an envelope in the mail from the DMV..... i expected to open it and find the green sticker for the shee..... low and beholed! the sticker is fucking red? i kid you not! they sent me a red sticker? wtf? i checked out all the enclosed paperwork, and the numbers on the tag.... it was alllllll legitamit...... what the hell? i have a 2005 yamaha banshee.... anybody else live in cali? anybody else register lately? what collor is your sticker? what year is your bike? i am freaking out! i hope they made a mistake! because i would be furious if i could only ride my shee a few months out of the year! what the hell?.,......

2003 and up get the shitty Red stickers. actually half of 2003 and up get them. There are a few 2003's ot there with green stickers.

they are just trying to phase out the 2 strokes...why not get a 2000 or older roller and swap the motor?
