| I doubt you will be able to ride at 909 (ext. 49 off of I-75) the tree huggers got us kicked out of there. Your best bet to ride is red bird crest off or rt.66 It has some nasty riding but you better mind your P's and Q's and stay on the allowed trail. Local pot growers don't like riders getting off the trail. If you can't ride with someone that knows the area I suggest you stop at the rangers station and get a map then bring a habd held GPS unit . Its easy to get lost because the forest is massive. Our last ride at red bird crest, we rode 190 miles but we still had a lot we didn't get to see. Some parts of the trail are easy then you turn a corner and you've got a nasty climb to make. Its great. |

| Actually I think the Daniel Boone trails run all the way up to Morehead. I recall hearing some friends talking about going there once...there is a place to park of 377 outside of Morehead near the Rowan/Lewis line on the Rowan County side. Dunno bout the trails though, never been there either. |

I was givin directions to Redbird Crest but your right, Daniel Boone runs through all of KY. and TN. You have to be careful cause alot of it is privit property |

| When I first went there I thought "Man, this is lame", because all the immediate trails were wide gravel roads. But as you venture out, the cool trails start appearing. I've only been there once, but would love to go back. My old riding buddies are into MX only and don't care to go back. I would recommend it for a weekend camp/riding adventure. There are trails for every level of rider there.
