I gotta get pics of this.. but my friend just gave me a 1986 yamaha(?) moto4. No idea what the displacement of it is but its the biggest piece of shit I've ever seen in my life. It runs like shit... the electric start is broke and you have to pull it 50+ times to start it. Its falling apart like nothing ive ever seen. Its the funniest thing ive ever seen or ridden or owned. Its got a nickname.. the scrotum 4 hahaha

If it has the key on the side, a front end that looks kinda like a banshee, no suspension and a 4 speed tranny then it is 80cc's and yea its called the moto 4 or YFM 80.

By the way the reason i know about this quad is because my 10 year old cousin has one and its dead for now its probably someting big thats gonna cost a shit load of money to fix

Nah this is a 5(?) speed semi-automatic tranny, and like maybe a 200 or 250cc 4stroke motor. I think we blew it up today because there was white smoke everywhere and it was seized but we towed it back to my friends house with my xr200 and pulled it over and it started first pull. wierd huh?

O yeah i forgot about the other moto 4 quads. Its either a 200 or 225. Some are called a YTM200 or YFM225. Does it have suspension i know some didnt just like the 80 cc old yamahas

they also made a TFM350E i did some auto clutch work on one i thkn they were like 89-91 and they are kind of forgotten. hell the yamaha part wholsaler didn;t even know what i was talking about when i called to order the parts ha ha. it took about 4 "now what kinda quad do you have"'s before he finally found it then i got a "damn could you get soemthing anyu rarer" i laughed and said it was a buddies and i got stuck fixin it. but anyway they are very slow and baby blue and they have a gear shifer thjingy on the left front fender. is this what you have??

Its kinda funny because yamaha went from those POS quads to the great ones like the banshee and the blaster

No thats not what I have. It turns out that this quad has heat seized about 5 times and the oils only been changed about 5 times since 1986. The Oil runs right by the rings and mixes with the gas and it smokes like a bitch. Its quite a site but as long as it runs ill beat the crap out of it. This quad came out about 3 years before the banshee im pretty sure if the website tells me correctly. This and the yamaha badger were the testing phase for the bigger and better quads.
