 why i'm blue!!! so, this is my very first post on any forum. unfortunatly it is a very sad one.i have a daytona special that i wanted to restore to showroom spec. well i sent the motor out to MOTO CARRERA back in 2004. well it is now 2007 and i still have no motor nor do i have my $1000 deposit. i have talked to doug johnson (owner) about 2 weeks ago and he said he would ship it to me. after repeated calls and e-mails doug is no longer in touch with me. i have retained an attorney and i will try to retreive my property. i beleive that doug has STOLEN my motor ,possibly for use on another bike. if anyone has any insight or info for me it would be greatly appreciated. this was my first 2 stroke bike and i've had a hard-on for this bike since it first came out. i own a body shop so restorations are not a big deal for me. this bike was complete and i was looking forward to getting info on the forums and saving this bike. now alls i have is a rolling chasis. | I Made An Eching If The Vin# For The Motor And The Frame. If My Lawyer Does Not Get Anywhere Than We Are Going To Report It To The L.a .sherriffs Dept As A Stolen Bike. Along With Directions To Moto Carreras' Address. I've Been Looking Around On This And Other Forums And It Seems That Doug Has A Habit Of This Behavior. |
