Can anyone run a search on the Vin and pull up the year and if it was stolen.. If it is I'd return it to the original owner and try to find a different roller. I'm actually being serious though..

Oh no thanks on the throttle stuff man, I know it's a good deal I already passed on the carb and all for $30 but I'm just going to buy a twist kit with cable and the cap all for $35 total new.

Cops can run the vin for you. Tho, if it is stolen then they "will" return it to the person that owns it....

Yes no prob, but they would probably take the motor caliper and other parts for it that was not on it in the first place.

To check if it is stolen, call your local DMV with the vin #. Tell them you are thinking of buying this quad but it has no papers. Have them check if it's stolen, they will tell you and if it is you will have time to remove your parts before they send the cops to get it. I had to do this with my RM because it had been through so many people there was no paperwork on it. Hope this helps you out.

I don't think it's stolen but it's better to check instead of getting it going perfectly then someone seeing it saying it's theirs .. calls the cops and all that good stuff and me lose my parts >.<

DMV will be straight up with you. It will be in there computer if it's stolen.

Ok guys, I got the topend pulled off and some pix of it..and in MY opinion..it isnt ported..Someone has tried to clean the ports up some..but I wouldnt even consider calling what they did a 'cleanup'..Looks like they just knicked some stuff with a bit. Idk..and the piston/topend has way more than an hour on it also..in MY opinion..what do you guys think ill get some pix of the piston too, the light from the flash shined on the ports and it makes it look like more is done to them then there actually is.
