the big shop in the town next to us is 85 an hour im 55, but did they split the case,
the other company in the big town is 65 and he dry humps alot of people which sucks. cause then i get it all fuck up and i have to go find what they did wrong . good inacence but ussually they gave the orther dick the money and i have to do i for less than what it should have costed plus now he has the same work done payed twice as much. happy at the end no. it just sucks that some places do that to people. i had it done to me.... so i went to a tech school , bought some tool and started to do all of my own work. yes done right. but sometimes the person getting the machine worked on doesnt know how much parts cost and if oem some of the parts are super high. it all adds up. bolts washers gears shaft case halves broken pistons. hole in the piston sounds a little lean. lucky it didnt cost alot more. show us the parts list and labor rates.

I THINK the only reasom it could have cost that much is they had to replace the crank bearings.anytime i have dropped a piston the bottom end was filled with aluminum peices.I too have learned a lesson trusting others to work on my shit, HAVENT had a wrenched turned on my car, truck, or any of my toys in 1o yrs. UNLESS you are rich i would suggest learning to work on your own stuff.Nothing a 6 pack and a few wrenches cant fix!

Good to hear they refunded some $$$ You got lucky, half the shops around here wouldn't do that! I do all the work i can on my bike, minus boring/porting etc. That's my only choice lol, college is raping the bank for me!
