 Ricky Stator China Junk Sorry to say boys, my 2nd Ricky stator went out in as many years. First one I'd call a fluke, it was warrantied, and sent back. Same thing, one year on it almost to the day. Went out. Lucky I had a spare, rusty, dirty OEM spare in my box. If not for that spare, I would've lost 200 bucks and been unable to race this past weekend. They might have made quality products in their day, for the last few years, it's the cheapest chinese junk they can get their hands on. OEM ignition from here on out.... I can see one being bad...shit happens. But two in two years, almost to the day... GARBAGE.....

| Heard these stories many times before, I stayed away from getting one though I couldn't anything else. I ran into luck & 02yama.... sent me one rebuilt by Alba. Works perfect and no probs after a handfull of rides. Why not give Alba a shot & have them rebuild that RS??

| what kind of $$$ does it cost for them to rebuild one? Dont the OEM replacements go for near 200 bucks if you dont have a hook-up?

| eve nthe adjustable stator plates are brittle hunks of shit i ve heard if just as many people with bad stators have bad plates that failed ,...myself included

| I've Been Down The Ricky Junk Road Myself. Last Year, They Sent Me Three Before I Went With An Oem Piece. Now I Have An Extra Rs, Still In The Box!!!
