Gas is getting cheaper....well?

Gas prices should continue to go down, since nobody in America or the world for that matter will be able to afford food let alone gas if things keep going the way they are. Do you realize that the American economy has lost 40 percent of its value in one calander yr as of todays 681 point loss. We are in for some drastic changes, mark my words. This bailout from the government was a stop to a almost certain collapse of the world banking system, and kaos. Hell, the country of Iceland went bankrupt today, the whole country lol. Soon your gonna need 20 percent down to buy a car or a home, with interest rates out of control. Im also afraid for my job now and so should alot of other people. Watch your money, just some sound advise. Not trying to scare anyone, but look at the comparrisons in any stock market graph since the 20's, things will get worse before they get better.

thing cant go up forever... we were defenitly at a high with the stock markets sky rocketing a while back. now its coming back down and slapping everyone in the face.

I don't know if any of you guys remeber but doesnt this remind you of the early 90's Literally over night people lost there houses cars banks went bankrupt..It was a freakin nightmare.Now here we are 20 years later and in the same boat.Just make you wonder what the hell our politicians are doing and if they are really out for the american people.It seems that the little guys get lumped up the most.Here you go mr ceo of some major corporation heres a $150.000 bonus for ya,Here ya go little joe I am gonna take your house make you pay insanely high taxes and by the way lay you off for half a year because our economy is in dire straights.What the fuck is happening to our country??????

Oh if you were only right my friend. You see, the stock market might be close to bottoming out but we have yet to see the repercousions of those loses. Who is the first person to pay when your company is losing money, the worker. Gotta cut your loses where it counts the most, thats where we come in. For example: I work for verizon installation and test, Verizon has lost 40% of its total worth yr to date. Why, not because of anything that has to do with the internet or phones, Verizon had billions of its money(not to mention our 401k's) invested in alot of those banks that fucked up. Thanks corperate America, you've done exactly what we've all knew you'd do. Screw us all!!!

stock market does go up and down, it was made a big deal recently when it hit an all time low but within a few hours it had gone back up to normal.yea gas prices have gone up but look at how much things cost 50 years ago compared to now, if you told someone 50 years ago how much a gallon of milk would be in 2008 theyd have a heart attack. it's the nature of the beast.people also make more money than they did back than as well so everything usualy balances itself out over time.the effort that goes into drilling for oil over seas, sending it to a refinery and getting it to my vehicle and all i have to pay is 3.95 a gallon for that process? thats fine with me. and as far as jobs go i own my own business which is funeral related so i have job security wherever i go no matter how bad things get

Nothing is "balancing out" for the guys at work that have lost 60-100k out of there retirement. While this is happening our government gives AIG over 100billion dollars and what do they do with it....25 executives spend 400k at a spa. WTF. OFF WITH THIER HEADS. Thats money we will all pay for, I dont care if you own your own business or not, you WILL pay

Dude I wasnt bitching AT you it was a expression as we will all pay for others mistakes while they lap it up. Believe me, Im the last person that will bitch about his job. 84hrs a week sucks, 6k every two weeks is priceless. Im just explaining how bad things really are, and that obviously some people dont see it lol. Its not like Im losing my job or anything but, what about all these insurance companies that pay for alot of the things you make money on. Ever think of that. Yeah maybe you will always have customers in your kind of work, but that doesnt mean they could afford to die.lol Last thing I would do is start an argument with you. I mean, this thread aint about Q is it. Thats the only thing that gets me arguing lol

I think that throught the course of this we all will pay in one way or another.Being that jobs are getting far and few.There will be way more compition in the work field for far less pay.I to own my own buisiness and yes I have seen drastic changes over the past few months.People are not spending there hard earned dollars easily.Everybody is trying to save that extra dollar for whats in store .I firmly believe that things will get worse over the winter and hopefully start to even out as always.But where does that leave the american people?I am not trying to bitch or preach in anyway but I can't just sit here and watch as our country is falling apart and say Well it will work out cause I have a good job and job security.Most people do not have that luxury any more.And it Sucks..But then again who am I?I am just a honest hard working american watching my fellow americans suffer through these bullshit.Times..So yes WE ARE ALL PAYING!!!!!!
