Another E-bay theif

96% is low as far as I'm concerned. If they don't have 100% with a high volume of transactions I usually won't bid. Some times I'll take the effort to research their history if it's a product I really need and the price is right, but if that negative feedback looks well deserved, I won't risk it.

As far as the federal offense or mail fraud thing goes, that's a long painful process. You have to wait 30 days from the issue date of the money order before you can file a complaint. Then, all they do is research whether or not the money oreder was cashed and when it was cashed. IF it was cashed you are on your own to persue any means of recourse. The postal service and the government DO NOT prosecute the offenders, it is considered a civil matter not a criminal one. This is what I was told by the postal inspector's office here when it happened to me. I figured it was a $30 lesson learned and just filed my complaint with Ebay.

Well here is an update on what has happened- I called the sherrif's office down there & asked if there anything that they could do about the situation. About 2 days later I received a money order for the amount of the part( still got screwed on the shipping both ways). Now she wants me to remove the feedback I left for her- I DONT THINK SO.
91lt250r- the picture in the auction was a nearly new crank, I even asked for more pics & they sent some. The crank in the pics looked great. It was not the same crank that I received from them.

Ebay is an excellent place to find parts, etc.You just have to look at feedback % , I have over 300 transactions on ebay, and got ripped off once for $20 for a Tool bootleg from some CA douchebag, but so did a lot of others, and ebay kicked his ass off.

i recently got raped on flebay from a guy in Oregon who had 99% feedback rating wit h several hundred sales # ,it doesnt really matter if the guys gonna fZ&k yo u,hes gonna fz&k you. this is why i dont bid on shit over 20$ that way if i get screwed its only for 20$ and not 500$ or some shit ill feel really bad about later
