Do not buy parts from exteremebanshee on e-bay. I got a crank from them & it was junk. Sent it back for a refund & now cant get ahold of them. Here is a link to the auction- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWN:IT
I have already filed a complaint through E-bay & I am going to the post office to report mail fraud(paid with a postal money order). What else can I do?

The crank was supposed to be new, installed but not used. All of the main bearings were noisey/ loose, rods had pitting in the small end (from detonation, not rust) & had excessive side to side movement.( maximunm at the pin is .080, when I measured the supposed new crank it had around .070 movement) The crank out of my 99 looked better than the one they sent me & that one was junk. I had just parted out a stroker motor that had maybe 4 gallons of fuel through it so I know what a new crank is supposed to be like.

I just rebuilt my banshee this winter, and I bought a hot rods crank like what you bought and also a set of cases from extremebanshee. The cases came with some minor damage to them that happened during shipping. The packaging was not very good. The crank I got had the same description as yours, but mine was actually brand new. I kept the cases anyway because I didn't want to mess with all the crap of trying to get my money back through ebay, plus they still function as normal. So I guess I am just lucky that I got a good crank from the guy

In the past 2 days since I gave them negative feedback, I have had 4 people contact me asking what had happened & said they are having the same problem( junk parts returned & no refund) They have told people that they cannot use postal money orders now for some strange reason( federal offense for fraud & theft)

I just got scammed a couple of days ago by this guy on ebay (abibas55). Who wanted to go through trade square so finally after getting some confirmation from trade square and ebay on this guy and finally decided to buy this quad for $2500. So I sent the money, trade square was suppose to hold payment details until I recieved the bike but the confirmation was a scame and he got away with my $2500.

Wait, you actually believe people when they say that on eBay? I don't believe them and I really wouldn't believe them when it comes to a crankshaft. Think about it for a second. A crankshaft is not a simple bolt on item and it requires a lot of work to get one into an engine and it also requires a lot of work to get one out of an engine. Nobody in their right mind would install one if they didn't plan on using it. Also, used parts on eBay are almost always sold "as is" so you're pretty much out of luck even if he lied and said it was in new condition.
