| Its was Brand New. Installed by a mechanic. No nicks or anything. New wristpin, Needle Bearing, and circlips. Nothing was reused from the old piston. It had to have been bored correctely because i had it hot way before that. I got a refund from the company anyways. They said it had something to do with the two metals they use. So they claimed it a un-tested piston and they are still bedating wiether to pay for the damage it caused. |

| hmm from the sounds of it that has happened before is they can tell you why it happened. just use a wiseco but becareful to warm it up propeerly especially with a wiseco piston

| fuck weisco ... i will never run another wiesco ever ... ill only use pro X ... wiesco tends to blow up way to easy when you race like i do ... i ran wiesco in my banshee and i blew holes in the top of them every time i raced then i switched to prox and never blew it up again ... Pro X all the way.

| Right wiseco pistons are the reason the holes formed in the top, give me a break. They are harder pistons than Pro-X and actually a forged aluminum would have a higher heat tolerance, slightly, than a cast model so that was not your problem garanteed. Pro-X are fine under 70hp, they cant handle power. Why do you think that you can only get Wiseco's for Pro-X jugs, hhhmmm cause the Pro-X piston wont stand up in the big bore jug. |

| a whole burnt in top of a piston is cause it was running lean and too hot of a pug isnt it?

| Well its from being to hot from one reason or another yes that is correct. Air leak, lean, ignition problems, etc, etc. |
| ||||
| i like wiseco pistons. so do alot of other people here that have been building drag motors for years. everybody has their own preference though??? |
| ||||
| I am really suprised that there is no other manufacturers willing to produce specialty pistons for these motors, I mean if I had a fourstroke I would go another direction than wiseco. But when basically the only choices I have are Cast and Forged, well duh I'll take the forged piston anyday. |
