My friend actually had this happen to him. He was selling a lift kit off his truck on a local city website and someone in a foreign country tried making a deal to where he send him like $2500 and he keep so much for himself and puts the rest into some account for the guy. Well turns out the guy sent a fake money order, my friend goes to cash it, his account gets shut down for fraud investigation and the other guy gets in no trouble at all, but my friend gets jacked around for a few months on the deal. Had to cancel his checking and credit cards associated with his account and reopen new accounts. Took 2 months or so to clear up totally. Watch out.

i would love to get the address of a scammer .........jump on a plane go knock on his door and drop kick him in the head then stomp his face in and then loot his house lol.....i cant stand scammers

I would never buy a bike off ebay without going to the persons house to look at it. We went to Illinois to look at a truck, and ended up getting it for 700 bucks. 10,000 miles lator runnin' strong..

We sell bikes on ebay all the time, but our feedback is also about 100% with over 2,000 items.. Theres some amazing deals nontheless.

if ebay sends you any messages they will show up in the message part of "my ebay "when you loggin to it.you should never answer or reply to any messages that appear to be from ebay that you get in your email.i get them all the time in my email and i forward them right away to :spoof@ebay.com. same goes with paypal.anytime i get anything from paypal i forward to: spoof@paypal.com. ebay and paypal will both let you know if the messages are fake.better safe then sorry.

yea that happened to my old man he bought a quad off ebay that he thought was a great deal 2 grand for a 650 ricon but the dude only wanted western union so he paid it and sure enough he got fucked outta 2 grand that we never saw again. id never pay western union or anything like that

dam that sucks..sorry to hear that i have over 100 trans action and i have been screwed 2 times but just for about a total of 50bucs which i could have avoided if i filed a claim with in a month of the sale date..but i was trying to be a nice guy and give the guy extra time....he keeped giving me the run around and sad story bs
