Normally all new factory drain plugs will have the magnet on it.
This is a great idea because it helps monitor problems that you may not see yet....

well before yo u run one keep in mind it also can keep the steel disks i nyour clutch pack from seperating due ot magnetization when the clutch is released i would not use one althoug hfor some models the y can work good and others they cause trouble ..justy ask banshee on here about his experiance

Arn't the steel plates seperated by the fiberplated anyways?

yes they are ,this was a concern i heard about ,just passing it along i thin k ti was a zilla that had a problem with them if i remember right

another problem with some of those drain plugs, is the magnet sticks up to far and hits the shift drum. not allowing it to shift. i put one in my 500 and broke the magnet right off!
