Default Harbor Freight

OK these guys are the seedy shady back alley tool peddlers luring the everyman with their ultra low prices and endless catalogs. How do they do it?
It's because half of it is crap!
But, half is not. This is a thread to share your experience with them. If you got crap say it. If you ended up getting a good deal then let us know cause we all like good tools on the cheap.
Ill start it off with the good stuff.
The 3/4 hp benchtop buffer/polisher is quality
The sae and metric T- handle Allen wrenches
re-chargeable spray can

Doodoo
The Central pneumatic flooring stapler lasted less then a week
Central pneumatic 15 gauge nailer

maybe eventually we can get a good knowledge base goin on here.

Default Digital Caliper Is Good!

I'm very happy with my $38 digital caliper, the solder kit a bought is still holding up.
The rotary [dremmel imitation] tool kit sucked pretty bad. No power, couldn't use it so I threw it out.
Can't go wrong with all the little things: Zerk fittings, Allen Head bolts, electric tape, heat wraps, blades, tarps, bungie cords, caution tape.

Anyone tried their Chicago Grinder or Compression Tester? I saw them around $25 but didn't dare myself.

I have purchased multiple hand tools from them.
Pittsburgh stuff, wrenches, no problems.
I also purchased one of their folding trailers. All it needed was new brackets.
Never purchase any power tools there but have come close many times.
Thinking of picking up a cut saw, compound mitre, etc.

Yeah you have to know going in that the stuff may not last long. I've had good luck with most things I've got from them but I stay away from tools that I know I'll use a lot or need to last. I just bought a trailer dolley to move my 10x6 landscape trailer around with and it works really good. I also have the manual tire changer with motorcyle adapter and that works good too.

Almost bought a Chicago electric mig welder, got a Lincoln instead. Also saw a pneumatic/hydraulic bottle jack there that I think I will try, it was on sale for about $50.

I was looking at that but shy of it. Do you use it for quad tires?
