well said i suck at typing so if anyone need more explanesd pm me .. the delta system works well because of more surface area, and like i said before the a/f mix travels along theses pedels it picks up speed. till a pressure drop or a void, or imbankment.... banshee intake stock lol... it acts like crack the whip on skating ,, the person or air closest to the wall slows will the out side person the,,whip,, is cracked ,, the out side air will pick up more speed till it hits the void open area or embankment..it is like a rubber band it will pull more a/f mix into the chamber, by gravity, those creating its on vacum/low are pressure.. forcing more air in.... i hope this makes sence,,, im lose lol lol
provided there is no turbulance,, a tumble meter will help to see this ,, flow bench kind of stuff...

The set I installed in my YZ 250 were fine. Maybe I should check the ones that came on my Shee. I know the guy I got it from said one of the petals broke off and he just installed new ones.

How the hell does something like that get passed thru quality controll? Where did you buy them?
I had no problems with my 3's. I never payed attention to match those gaskets, I'll make sure to do so next time I pull em out.

Honestly I cannot see the intake gaskets posing any restriction, the cylinder base is the one thats potentially intrusive...

Joe...got mine from Magic a couple years ago...VF3s. No problems...all 06 in a gas cub, all last year in a 10 mil cub alky, I even popped a piston in one side...no issues at all.

I'll take a look at my cages as well, gasrx. Do you run the factory stuffers or the opened up cascade style open/square stuffers?

Brother, mine were the same way - a little gap under the tips. What I did was figure when it was bolted down the outside ring would clamp and cause them to sit down. The R is a little harder to cold start than it should be, so I've been wondering if the cage is the problem.

Nick - I've called on two different occasions and found that V-Force does not have available to tell its customers what CR boot they tested the cage with. I've been gathering pictures and so far I'm guessing it's the 01 version. I have it on my list of things to buy next time I make a honda order. I did some mild porting of the cage to match my mid 90's boot to reduce turbulence but I was baffled that they don't know and can't tell you what CR boot to buy. It just goes to show you that hype Ad in Dirt Wheels is more important than the customers actually using the product correctly.

How about the Delta2 CR cage, does anyone know what the cross sectional area is compared the the delta3?
