V Force 3 reeds poor quality.

well got my new v3s today and the quality control must suck there. peddles do not sit flat. also lot of plastic pieces hanging. i hope i just got a bad one. and yes its going back.

ive bought two sets myself and havent had any issues. maybe you did just get a bad one.

Just something to consider, I never install any reed cage without modifying the inside of it. I bought a CR VF3 and a CR boot for my R and they did not match up perfect as I expected. So I modifed them until they fit as one uniform piece, any ledge causes flow disturbances. While they may be small the objective is laminar flow and that cannot be achieved with mismatched edges.

mine were fine other than like you said they had some filings hanging from the edges of the pedals that i had to pull off, some still a little stuck on, figured they should be perfect for the money they charge.. imagine how many people just throw em on with all the chunks of carbon fiber hangin off the pedals without lookin, they should be perfect for $200+ i think

sorry trade secrets clean up the edges any little in profects.. air doubles in speed in a straight line. edges turn the air causing it to push agains the new air flow causing it to slow down.. i should have some off my builds on here my camera sucks bad it doesnt cancel the movement blurry...
