| K&T, Red-line, and F.A.S.T. are all great builders. I've personaly never heard much about podos racing. I would also recomend FloTek, great work, turn around time is really quick, and price is good.

| yeah i hear you guys..i just want to make completely sure before i get the shee motor done. I spent a good amount of money on ftz and they jerked me around for a year. they are cool to talk to on the phone and seem to know alot and like to help you out. But i think that they play it little to save when it comes to building motors. they talked me out of a big bore kit/2mill stroker and a more radical port job. They told me the lt250 isn't that reliable if i had that kind of work done to it. I want to make sure that the shee will be the fastest where i ride. I dont want to go alchol though. And i figure if my lt was beating every one except 2 of the 450s atvs and the 450 dirt bikes the banshee should eat them. Im thinking about getting the cub cyclinders. thats what RDZ was telling me to go with. still not sure

| do you think a 4mm cub would be to much for all around riding? i dont do much trail riding . i will be using the shee for sand dunes, drag racing, and open field rinding. occasionally going in trails. I dont think rob like to do strokers or something he told me to just go with the cub cyclinders, port, pipes, carbs, heavy duty clutch.

| talk to Denny or Jim at Passion racing about a stock cylinder 4mil set up if you want to do a stroker. the Cub will be too much hastle for what your doing.

| I agree. It's not that the cub has to much power, it has too much of the wrong kind of power. Lightswitch. And it hits like a ton of bricks over a narrow RPM range. Don't limit yourself to 2 or three builders, either. Denny and Jim do fine work, but so do others.... Through due diligence, call around....do NOT shop by price alone.

| Ok, speaking from my experiance here, a cub is not what you want. I went with a cub and dont get me wrong, its a fast ass motor...but...it's not too versatile, if i were you i would build a 4 mil stock jug, much cheaper and not that much less power, get yourself a good port job from Flotek, buy a crank, some pipes and some carbs and your done, a cub motor and you will have to buy alot more shit. I just now got my cub too where it neeeds to be. Floteks prices are great and he really know's what he is doing, trust me..you build yourself a 4 mill stock jug and nothing, and i mean nothing unless it's another shee with equal mods will even come close, you will spit dirt in any 4 pokes face trust me, they are no joke. My buddy has one, dont get me wrong my cub makes more power then his 4 mil, but nothing is keeping up with him out there but me. Figure $300 for a port job, $430 for a crank, $550.00 for exhaust and $350 for carbs, plus a few other odds and ends and you got yourself a mean ass motor for $1630.00 plus maybe a few extra for gaskets and bullshit like that.
