I am not sure TCS are up to par with ELKA. I would say they are more like a works shock. They get the job done but not top of the line.

Shocks are really you get what you pay for. The more you spend the better the shock. With all the research that goes into shocks I am guessing your not going to see and ELKA or AXIS shock for under $800.

Don't get me wrong depending on what you plan to do TCS might do fine. I would say if you are going to MX race then you might want to spend some extra money on a set of ELKA's. I'm not racing but I want ELKA's just because. Thats my reason and I'm sticking to it.

I agree, Elkas are better built then the TCS. And you really do get what you pay for in the shock department. PEP's are kick ass too. THe only thing about them is good luck getting a pair without waiting at least 3 months. PEP and Elka are on more pro motocross quads then any other shock. My opinion is,there is a reason for that. not taking anything away from the TCS, one of my motocross buddies has a pair and he seems to really like them.

my shee came with elkas that why i have em. lucky me huh. works are ok shocks too. you just ahve to think bout what your gonna do to them. if your a new rider you probaly don't need quad rate elka piggies. you'd be fien with some works dual rate rezzie shocks. but then again i don't know how aggressive you are or what kinda of jumping you do.
