there is a skill to drag racing. If you go ou there and expect to just dump the clutch, your gonna lose. even if your on an identical bike to the other person. there are different ways to launch each bike, you have to find what it likes. and shifting has a big part in determining the outcome as well. now, saying that, i'll get back on topic. the yfz had quite a bit of mods done to it by the look of it, and even though the shee was launching bad, it still got the yfz up top

Eviltwin has my vote. I'm beginning to wonder if the YamahaGuy has anything good to say about any of the posts. Hmmm. That guy obviously hasn't ever been to a sand or dirt drag. Hah. Now onto the race, the dude on the Banshee wasn't launching hard at all, I don't think he was revving it all that high, but on the upper end he still pulled the YFZ...Most usually a Banshee will stand up before it will break the tires loose, and his tire pressure wasn't all that high, his back tires were squatting pretty good.

all i have is a 4" over swingarm and with dirt tires all mine does is spin the tires on the street. that guy had a huge swinger. did you hear how fast he was shifting. geared way to small or spinning em hard.

and yfz's are nice quads, for guys or girls. . . . . .

but the vid was cool. . . i thought the 450 guy wasn't that good of a rider. . . . his bike was fast but not fast enough to have it squirreling all over the place almost every single launch. . . .
