i was thinking the same thing it looks like the shee is geared to high and he isnt launching with enough gas at all...and the other guy looks like hes trying to make his bike wheelie to look cool. You have to find a balance where you launch as much gas with out doing a wheelie or spinning the tires...with better gearing and rider that banshee would have realy whooped those other bikes

As for that modded shee, well damn, somethings up with that too that don't seem right....I dont think he's going full throttle off the start.....and he has bad gearing....
And that yfz, well its fairly quick, it got squirrely on him a few times....

That yfz wouldn't stand a chance on sand. That yfz is probably much easier to launch on pavement than the banshee is. A pipey machine with a grabby clutch is not a good combo for asphalt. I know as my tecate3 wasnt much of a pavement racer either...

that dude on the 450 thought he was badass tryin to make it look like it was wheelying itself, hahah, it was obvisous he kept leanin back and pullin up tryin to get it to wheelie, hes a drama queen makin it all squirly off the line swervin all over acting like hes got a fuckin big block in that thing

I gotta give that 450 props, that thing EXPLODES out of the hole, but the banshee eats him alive on the top end. The guy on the banshee needs to learn how to launch that thing, boggin like crazy. Nice vid.

I love drag racing, I wish there was a nice place close around here that I knew about with some dirt drags, I'd be there with my R every chance I got. I have my own dirt drag strip that I keep disked up and smoothed out and I race with friends on it alot and practice alot too. I have my R geared a little high, 13/36. and I launch it in 2nd gear, but sometimes If I dont have my revs up just right it bogs on me, so I got this technique where I start in 2nd holdin about 1/8 to 1/4 steady throttle then right when I go I kinda double clutch it to keep it from boggin. when the traction is just right, my holeshot tires hook up awesome and it will just jump hard and ride the front wheels about 5 inches off the ground settin on the tank and then I start bangin through the gears to the finish. I got some videos of some single runs but it sucks cause I cant get em to upload on here

Ky, i couldnt get it to work at first.. For some reason it wouldnt play on Firefox but i got it to work on internet explorer, it just took a long time to load

anyways, its just a 450 and a drag shee going at it over and over again

In that case, was the banshee driver a bad driver? I've never seen a banshee run before but i would think a drag banshee would have more off the line "go" than that. Unless it did have a lot of off the line power but the 450 just had more plus the advantage of the 4 stroke bottem end power.....?

kind of a suckky camara angle, but it really looked like the shee was kicking in at half track and just blowing by the 450... correct me if im wrong....
Now i dont know much about drag quads but i would assume you gear it for the distance your going to drag so that your not hitting top speed 1/4 way down the strip???
