Now i dont know much about drag quads but i would assume you gear it for the distance your going to drag so that your not hitting top speed 1/4 way down the strip???

I agree. The banshee doesnt get out the hole well but it pulls hard, pass the 450. When he didnt bog down, he was really close and passed him around 4th or 5th gear. I guess the banshee had one of those override trannys because it sounded like it had 5 gears, unless it always started in 2nd gear. From what i read on bansheehq forums, over ride trannys get ride of the 6th gear. One things for sure though, he can drive better than me. Looked like some fun too!

Another thing, the locals here with the 450's race to see how has the fastest top speed. To them, that's whos fastest. I race till i top out when let off and call it the end.

Quick summary: the 450 is geared too low for that strip, hence the killer holeshot
the stock shee had a retard for a pilot, hence his loss. the drag shee seemed geared a little high, and the pilot was also retarded.but for pure horsepower, i gotta vote shee cause you can see just how hard that thing hands that 450's ass to him. If that drag shee woulda got one good holeshot, it woulda been sooo ebarassing for that 450, espically with all that money in the motor

That built banshee is wicked and I love watching him eat him up. That is the stupiest way to drag race I have ever seen, they always went on the 450's que. No matter what he always has the upper hand on take off without someone flagging it. Still fun to watch though.

there are so many factors that change a drag race, you cant say a driver sucks.....

you cant take a 300' dirt drag bike and expect it to own everything on pavement or sand... everything is specifially set up for one thing, and can change the race in so many ways....

what the motor is set up for

track length
