In a few years the oldest will be driving out to SL trips and dragging your Honda

My oldest has already rode his out in the dunes at Silver Lake, I rode the quad in, he rode in w/someone in a truck and the he got on it and rode in the dunes for the day. Following my wife around on hers. He loved it.

Just my opinion but I dont think a ski cap makes a very good helmet. It wouldn't take much to catch some traction and launch into that snow plow. Teach them now so you wont have to worry when they're out by themselves.

That's awesome! Is he riding this May? I haven't yet taken the kid to sand, only trails. This coming summer should be her first time on paddles.

No, he won't be there for the May trip. He's got school and my wife wants a little break from the kids. But I know he'll go again this summer. He's got a 80 grizzle now, and will go better in the sand hopefully.
