Being a mod doesn't have to do with # of posts, or machine you ride or even the knowledge of all machines. Being a mod is policing or controlling the site; keeping yahoos from starting BS arguments and keeping things organized. It's about the site not about the machines.

I'm a mod on a well known trx450r site and I've been a member there for a long time. I became a mod because I'm on there, helpful, respectful and don't get into shit. I knew the mods on there pretty decent and when it changed ownership they invited me to be a part. I didn't beg for it, kiss ass or it wasn't the number of posts. Even if the admin has 102 posts, he is doing a lot to 1) support the site behind the scenes and most likely money out of his own pocket to keep it running so you can BS on here and 2) keeping it organized behind the scenes. Being a mod isn't about posting, it's about keeping the site a warm and respectful place to visit and to keep the thugs from f'ing it up.

370 is running an engine setup BUILT by someone else on this site (PassionRE). If he knew more about engines then that guy im sure hed have built his own stroker. But it really depends on what you meant by 'knowledge'. Ive never seen anyone know more about chevy v8's.... thats for sure..

just because you are running a engine built by someone else does not mean you aren't knowledgable. he bought that engine becuase he got one hell of a good deal and it was hella cheaper to buy the completed motor than buy the parts and build his own.

I didnt say he wasnt knowledgeable because he didnt build his own engine did i? I know he is very knowledgeable, theres no doubt about that he has helped me with questions quite a few times. I was debateing whether he was the most knowledgeable person on the SITE. And with engine building i doubt even he would say hes the most knowledgeable.....

370 and eviltwin both know there shit, i have trusted there advice and have sent my own motor to eviltwin. It wasnt really a point of questioning them it was a point of just stating someone is the most knowledgeable is probably just suckin up bs.

I browse this site at work, thats why i didnt like the tits as an avatar. i have avatars turned off. its not an issue anymore.
