Glad I'm not the only one.... I use Firefox pretty exclusively at home and work....sometimes I reply, sometimes I use the "quick reply"....it'll sit there blank until I hit F5 to refresh it.....

There are times I reply or send/receive a PM and it locks and eventually a box pops up that says "server is taking too long to respond, etc.".

I know Jason is switching servers, board software and it'll be hosted differently because he had a blurb somewhere about having to update your DNS records to reflect the new site.

So...I'm sure he's doing the right thing, and it will be better for all.

As soon as the new "switch" date is known to us mods, I will post it as announcement again on top of all forums...

I know a lot of deals, etc. are done via PMs, that will give you the chance to get a phone number, address, etc. that you may need in that time frame it might be down!!

yea, its comcast. When they bought out road runner they took out the speed and came out with the powerboost package. So, im thinking that if you buy the powerboost package you will probably get the same speed that you had out of road
runner. Im not buying it, I find it somewhat stupid for an at home web surfer to buy the fastest stuff out just to visit the arcade site.

it works great for me, the only problem i have ever had was already mentioned. i will get a blank page sometimes after posting and then i gota go back and refresh it.... i think its plenty fast though... and works good...

Ill give you an idea of why some things are slowing down on the net. It has taken verizon about 11 yrs or so to build their network to were its at today. Bandwidth requirements are going up faster than we can build the network. At&t and verizons networks, at the rate bandwidth is added today will run out of bandwidth by 2010, THE END OF THE INTERNET. LOL. We have to install 5 times the amount of network capacity that has been put in over the last 11 yrs over the next 3 yrs to keep up. HAPPY SURFING!!!!
