mx vs drag banshee set up???????

im thinkin of trading in the blaster and hookin me up with a banshee so i dont know if i would though cause i herd there bad at mx

is that true????

and heres the real question

use the best parts

make a list of parts and a totale on how much a mx ready banshee would cost - the cost of the actual banshee


then make a list of a drag banshee - the cost of a banshee


u dont need to include everything but just make a totale


from frame up AND include any frame mods that would be needed

I got about $2300 into my mx banshee....thats a total cost for the shee and the suspension....It it handles great....Huge improvment with the suspension...

im currently tring to build an MX/trail shee.... its super expensive, but def worth it.... gota love that 2 stork power when your jumping!

BUY A 450 For MX. There, I said it.
The chassis is horrible, the suspension is horrible...the motor is horrible.

You could buy a new swingarm (shorter) better A Arms, better shocks, etc. You're still stuck with SHIT frame geometry.

Then you'll have to detune a motor designed to scream at 6 to 10K RPM and try to make it make power at lesser RPMs.

Get a 450...save yourself the headache. Unless you're the kind of person that has more money than sense...

I agree on dajoge the 450 was made for MX,The shee is a passion bike not made for tight short twisties...it likes to go side ways fast, build a flat track/supermotard machine, theres a guy on the site with one, looks interesting. sorry to burst your bubble if you wana build an MX machine go for it, its your call, not ours.
