thewheeldealer has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Let me answer for you, Lt250RSwamprider

I am selling this for a friend. He gave me an estimate on what he thought the mods were worth. Maybe he exaggerated, maybe he was misinformed. I do know that the quad was modified at the dealership it was purchased, so top dollar was probably paid for the parts and labor. Im sure you can find anything cheaper somewhere if you look. And perhaps if you are knowledgeable and have the tools you can save by installing yourself, but not everyone is. I am an honest seller, Im not trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes. Neither am I trying to deceive or cheat anyone. As a member of your forum pointed out, it is probably worth the opening bid, and since you obviously know what you are looking at then you know what it is worth, to you. As far as the "intake cone and bag", I think you well know what I was referencing. Im sure you agree that not everyone knows everything about everything. Which of course means that not everyone is an ATV expert. I tried to describe this vehicle in the best way of my ability. If you were interested in letting me know the proper terminology, which Im sure you know, that would be a great help to me as well as to the people who might actually be interested in purchasing this ATV. Since it is obvious you are only taking time out of your day and time out of my day, to get a laugh at my expense, I wont answer your question directly. Labeling me a "dumbass", a "retarded inbred hick", a "doucebag" (his spelling, not mine), lacking intelligence as result of incest, "full of shit", "assface", "redneck dipshit", or any other hurtful insult you might have thrown seems a bit unnecessary. Perhaps next time you, or one of your other forum members, could use your copious ATV knowledge in a helpful way, like by bringing my misinformation to my attention in a courteous manner. I am not above admitting I am wrong, or changing my auction to more accurately describe the product I am listing. Take care.

EDIT: You know what I was wrong. If you were such a honest seller you would make sure that your friend didn't blow that thing up like it was the best there was. You should just list the "mods" and say it was bought from the dealer by your friend and he had some parts put on by the dealer.

you also have to admit that eBay is full of jerks that like to try and take advantage of people that don't know what they are buying. I'm sure you see it and I'm sure you understand why when someone says they have $6,000 in mods to a quad that looks stock that that could easily be taken as some dick trying to take advantage of someone.

if i was a noob to quads if i saw 2 big ass chrome pipes sticking out of a quad i would think it could easily have thousands invested. think about it. you talk about a bunch of little thing and to a nooby it could sound like the world of upgrades when really its not. no one on this site would get fooled but I'm sure a lot of ppl on ebay would
