An "R" title Banshee...

So I've found a Banshee that is pretty hooked up, and for a pretty decent price...

Only problem is that it has a Utah Rebuilt title...

Should I worry about it or not ? How much does that affect resell ? Maybe I should just offer less...

The frame has one SMALL (Very small) ding on the backside of the upright tube that is in between the front bumper mounts, it has an aftermarket bumper on it the spans this area so I can't see how it would EVER be a strength problem...

Any help would be GREAT !

I would find out what happened to it first.

I would definetly find out what happened to it to consitute a reconstructed title. I have a 88 polaris trailboss that has a recontructed title but it was only cosmetic. it was rolled and needed tank, plastics, and handlebars. But being a banshee I doubt it was just cosmetic. If it had frame damage and the frame was just repaired and not replaced I would be weary.

He "bricked" it (front end first / down) into lava rock at St. Anthony

The front end was messed up so they replaced it all with '05 Banshee stuff (left over from an ALBA conversion on the newer ride)..

"New" arms, shocks, bumper, billet handlebar lights, etc. etc.

Rebuild titles for quads? Must be a West Coast thing....I re-did my Banshee from the frame up, does that mean it's a re-build? No, because Indiana does not require titles on 4 wheelers. They understand that it's an off-road vehicle, not ridden in public.....What's next, a title for your riding lawnmower?

Yes probably next year we will have to have plates for the mowers UT SUX !!!

you can purchase a brand new frame from yamaha of troy or worldofpowersports.com for like $500 and if you have a bike with a bent frame with bill of sale or title you can use all of your old parts on the new frame and take all of your paper work to the dmv and that is when you get the "r" title

Uh ok this is pretty much what they did only they used the OLD frame and all the other NEW parts off of a differnet machine, BUT since the insurance totaled it the title got changed to "R" ....
