pistons for a shee

i tore my banshee down and found that the left cylinder looked like it had been chewed like a dog bone. i checked out everything to make sure that everything else is ok and it is. as a matter of fact it looks brand new. the pistons that came out of the block are .50 mm pistons which is .020 bore. i was wondering how much of a bore shoud i go and what kind of pistons shoue i go with to get the most out of the wheeler with out doing damage? i want some serious ponies between my legs. nitrous?

i think next it's forty over if there's not too much damage to your sleeve and then wiseco pro lites.

um. nitrous? what else do you have done to your bike? it's stock right?
a good set of pipes should be fine for now if you haven't been riding long.

next oversize is .75mm or .030 over. I'm pretty sure. Get the good weight-matched Wiseco pistons...theyer a little more expensive than the regular prolites but its worth the money. As far as serious ponies between your legs.....whats done to the quad now? Nitrous is not a good idea. Most people have no clue how dangerous that shit is. one wrong part or one wrong move, and you'll be buying a new set of jugs, or maybe even worse.

well i already have a full fmf exhaust, 39mm keihin flat slides, sorockets and chain, turf taimer tires. as far as the expierence, i have more than enough to handle the power. i have been ridin wheelers and rockets for 10 years. i am just lookin for some advice on how to get more power out of an already modified banshee. thanks franny. haha.

Take your jugs to a shop. They can mic them and tell you how much they'll have to rough bore them to get rid of the damage, then you can buy the pistons, and they'll finish the bore and hone to match. I would not attempt nitrous on a stock engine.........

i agree with ed, nitrous on a stock engine might start breaking internals, take ur jugs to a machine shop and have them miced, then get your pistons

i told him forty over cuz i thought one of his jugs was scarred but not super bad. just to get the knicks and shit out.....
