Default 99 Banshee Cold Pipe

Hi,

I am awakening a sleeping banshee... I've put in new plugs and fuel.

Started up left cyl works. Right pipe is cold and plug white and dry.

compression 100 psi each side cold. I tapped the right carb bowl a bit.

I've also pulled the needle valve which looked clean. Could this be just a stuck float valve?

Bike appears to have no TORS system on carbs, boost bottle and T5 pipes. Just a little sandy...very clean otherwise.

Thanks,

Loren

Right side sounds lean, compression is a bit low, Did you have throttle wide open when checking it?

I don't think it was WOT. What should the compression range be? (I'd search but the site locks me from searching?)

Thanks

You're close to sea level, so I'd say around 130 PSI.......testing w/ out WOT will give you an artificially low reading.......
