Tors Elimination

I just ordered the Toomey Tors eliminator kit. I am writing to pick anyone's mind on potential problems I may have with the installation . The kit comes with eveyrthing incluing the drill bit.

I just did one for a friend... It was super easy... It wasnt from Toomey, but I'm sure they are the same concept... Just take care when tapping the holes just like you would any other hole(use lube and make sure its straight)... I used a hack saw to carefully trim back the idle screw bosses, then used a flat file to even out and square them up...

Take the slide out (of course), and stick a dowel rod or what-not in the carb when you're drilling the holes for the idle screws, so you don't drill into the opposite side....make damn sure all the aluminum shavings are cleaned out when you're done.....

of course, but good tapping techniques can apply to just about any hole...

just keep it lubed and don't let it dry out
