Default cracked intake boot

I have a cracked left intake boot on my banshee and I have been tossing an idea around in my head that I can use this as an excuse to upgrade or just replace the cracked boot.

well one or the other. You need a new boot with thats what your asking. If its weathered like that, youll suck in air and run your cylinder lean. And lean equals hot which means big problems.

Oh I definitely need a new boot no question about that, I was just wondering if the aftermarket one are worth the money or not, and I know what your saying about it runnig lean, I just haven't ridden it for awhile and kicked it over today and the rpm's went to the roof and I hit the kill swicth in a heart beat so hopefully I dident cause any damage.

i'd just get a stock boot...if you want something to spend your money on then go with aftermarket but unless your going to bigger carbs and need aftermarket boot's then they wont get you any preformance gains...

well its kinda like porting your cylinder and getting rid of casting flaws, but instead in your intake manifold a stock one would have casting flaws, and an aftermarket one wouldnt

Those BOSS intake setups are the cats pajamas...I have one on my stock carbed shee...Has the built in crossover and is billet...Worth the $99.00 I paid to help prevent an air leak...
