carb tops

I bought a banshe and the carb top/cap is stripped out does anyone know were u can get new one or do i have to buy the whole new carb?

I believe Vito's and some other places sell the caps,......If the threads on the carb itself are trashed, ditch it.....it'll never seal right.......fine threads on aluminum is a poor design IMO..........

Yeah Vitos has them for carbs with the tors removed. If you still have the tors on then you will need to find a used set up on Ebay or somewhere. If you do still have the tors then now is a perfect time to remove it.

I just got to looking at it and the whole carb threads are stripped any good places to get a cheap carb from? like 100-150$ range?

Same thing happened to me. So I have one good stock carb W/TORS if u want it. Its the side w/out the choke. Sell it to ya cheap.

Ebay, BansheeHQ...you can usually find a set of stockers with the TORS removed for 100 bucks or so.
Remember, you'll need a different throttle cable as well once you remove the TORS...
