Planetsand.com.
Also...how big are the motors? Because of the CV system on a sled, you gotta build a BIG motor to compete with traditional tranny/drive systems on a shee.

However...it'll be fun when it's done....

I think your going to have alot of work ahead of you friend ,aligning the drive system to the rear end will probably be difficult and theyre will be clearance issues. so will motor mounting and routing the exhaust system on the frame. i wouldnt just throw a traditional 440 sled engine in it cause its not going to be much for performance in the banshee frame ,now a triple machZ might be very badass

Yeah...a 1000cc Thundercat motor is fun to watch, too...
In the end, if you spent a few G's on a banshee motor, it would be bad ass. You could easily spend that and more in fab materials and work to get a sled motor and drive system shoe horned into a banshee frame.

Unique...and cool...but a TON of work. Best of luck, either way....

You can make the cylinders work....but, to be honest, by the time you get all the machining work done, figured out port mapping, matching...etc., you would've probably been better off with a cub or cheetah motor. They bolt up.

Unless you were going to build a HUGE 800cc or bigger twin and try to mate it up, you can get more power out of aftermarket bolt on cylinders....

I'm not trying to be a negative pessimist...but it's a huge project, lots of man hours, lots of machining and custom fab work....in the end, bolting on some aftermarket cylinders would yield the same OR better results....
