Default banshee starting problem

I have a 1999 Banshee and it will start if i pull the choke out all the way it will start in about 20 kicks but then it wants to idle really really high! but my carbs. are clean and nothing is sticking and floats work really good, reads are good and has new spark plugs (ngk). but some times it will start good and idle but only with me playing with the choke. it seams to be the left side that is giving the problem,

sound like you might have an air leak somewhere? are your carb slides syncd up? do you have the TORS units still on the tops of your carbs?

well your throttle cables on those POS tors units might be all gummed up and jamming like mine did and itll hold your slides up a bit and make it rev real high, get rid of ALL the TORS shit, the tops on both carbs unplug them both and remove them, and unplug the black box mounted to ur frame by the radiator, all trash

exactly.. just one less thing to go wrong, much easier to sync up ur carbs without TORS on top,, just a bunch of useless shit in the way making an already tight space, even tighter, get the eliminator kit for $30 and do it, save you a bunch of BS in the future, also u need the idle screw kit with it, thats liek another $25... cheap way to save a huge headache when the threottle cables snap inside those tors when your out in the middle of the woods like me
