Question TORS just being disconnected???

I tried the search but it's busted. . . . .

Want to know if I simply disconnect my TORS until I get the kit, will my shee run right?

Also, want to know about the idle screw tap. . . . I remember seeing someone saying they skipped this step. It this possible?

Thanks,

theres no reason to just unplug the wires and leave the whole unit there, thats not gona benefit u in any way...

get the TORS removal kit, comes with new caps and throttle cables, and u also need the idle screw kit, which ones with ide screws, drill bit, tap,, u can buy both together i think for aorund $60 or less,u cant skip the step of the idle screw... unless u want your bike to die everytime u take your hand off the throttle.

Your banshee will run fine with the tors unpluged until you get the kit glasshouse.

i have the TORS eliminator kit, but no idle screw kit. It idles fine. Once you get the 2 throttle cables in sink, you can simply adjust the idle up at the thumb throttle.

just judging from the number of posts, I will go with erik6767's advice. No offense to anyone else who posted, but there is nothing I hate worse than doing a modification to something and it running worse than it did when it was stock. So, with that said, if I do it, I ultimately want to do it right.

next question is . . . Where do you tap in the idle screw to?

dont judge me by my number of posts, im still a derelict

but u do need a idle screw kit as well, alot of guys got eveything together as package for around $60 like we said

u could unplug the connection to the tors tops, but really that doesnt stop the chances of all those throttle cables inside gettin gummed up or snapping like mine did.. just spend $60 ASAP, and get it all and then when ur 10 miles out in the woods in the middle of nowhere, ur shit wont snap or somethin else, and leave u riding all the way back on 1 cylinder ( like me_)
