Gasket?

Was wondering if i could use high temp silicon on the clutch cover and water pump? or should i just buy the paper gaskets? also dose anyone know the size of the water pump O ring, i cut mine in half and don't want to pay 3 dollars for one.

In an emergency you could get away with it but I say just get the correct gaskets. That goes for the o- ring too. Sometimes silicone breaks apart and goes where you dont want it.

Just use those K&S paper gaskets, they're really cheap.
YOu'll have a big mess to clean up [if you go with silicone] next time you pull the covers.
