| ya i know and the left side is perfectly fine i was thinking it was either the spark plugs or the air filters cause there both black oh and did i mention the guy has never rejetted the carbs since he has bought it last febuary |
| ||||||||||||
| well i wish i could help but i cant take my eyes off your avatar lol but the only thing i could think of is the guy who jetted it last maybe jetted the 1 side way to lean and it fried the piston on that side or u could have the head gasket bown on that 1 side and burnt the piston up im stumped

| If you can throw a period or capital letter in there ...once or twice, I'll try to help. I can't read one big, long...run on sentence... |
| ||||||||||||
| Ok...after 85 times of reading that.... Get a compression tester, check each side. KEEP KICKING until the gauge doesn't go up any more. Don't get a 10 dollar cheapy they sell at the auto parts store. Get a quality gauge, or borrow a friend's quality gauge. MAC, Matco, Snap On, Craftsman...they all work. Start there. If you don't have compression on one of the cylinders, cleaning out the carbs and resyncing them comes later... And when you said you "tweaked" it...what exactly does that mean? |
| ||||||||||||
| I wood also like to know what "tweaked it" means. I if you wear doing donuts you probity had it wide open right? maybe you burnt up a cylinder? you could have got a clogged fuel line going to the side with no compression and you starved the cylinder of oil. Also you could have a reed that wont seal that will lower your compression. Get a accurate compression level, then check your reeds. If thats ok take the head and cylinder off. chevshee

| sounds like the reeds stuck open on the right side when u said it high revved and and that mean there was a lack of gas or too much oil and thats why it burnt up on that side and i thought banshees always had a problem with the right side
