| is it a rev box? or a full ignition like a Dyna tech? if its one of those rev box's they dont do sh*t for a 2stroke. the only ignitions that really do anything on a 2stroke are Dyna Tech, Nology Coil, PVL, and moddified flywheel.

| Yeah sorry I kinda said that wrong I know its an ignition so you can adjust the time curves advance the timing right and the vortec has a switch you put on your handle bars. but does it not also work as a rev box as well or something get you 1000 more rpm or something like that.. So if I get an ignition like this or a dynatek one does that mean I wont need an adjustable timing plate to advance the timing it does it for you |

| That is correct.... However, unless you got a TON of work done to your bike, plan on running a tach, Nitrous stutter, etc., OEM CDI is just fine with a plate. If you have time to program the CDI and hit a dyno to tune it in, then it might be worth it... I got rid of my Dyna and went back to a stock OEM CDI for my drag bike... |
