Default buddy wants this shee

my cuzin has a dritbike but he wants a quad, we found this banshee for $1500 it runs but rattles & makes noise in the bottom end, he says it needs a new crank & rods & thats $300 he said. so what im trying to ask is is this a good deal after you put a new crank in rods in it? or could it have more problems? http://reno.craigslist.org/mcy/538388274.html

I noticed it saying reno craigslist after I posted. I would offer the guy 1200 since repairs need to be made not only are parts needed but labor as well.

I never see a Banshee priced under $2500 on this side of the states. T5's alone are 1/2 the asking price.
I say it's a deal & I've seen welded cranks on ebay under $100.
