Any suggestions on motor build?

Any banshee owners have a opinion on what kind of motor set ups . I'm looking to make a my banshee a drag bike. I want a bike that will fly in the sand/dirt plus i have a riding area where i go that ive heard of a raptor that has nitros and has beat this one guy ive seen down there(he has a real nice banshee) I have missed the guy every time i go down there. but i want to get my bansee ready and go there and kick some ass. I'm usually the only 2stroke there. I love rattling them up. Im sure i can beat most of them with a slower bike because 80% if not more can not ride that good.LOL

In my personal opinion get it ported and i would contact Denny at FLOTEK, talk to him and tell him what you are looking for, he offers all different kinds of porting and will tell you what type of motor to build that best suits your needs. a drag shee huh?

first question is what type of drag racing(drag only bike(top end power only) for dirt, sand etc? or just an all around fast play bike with mid range power?). the 2nd is how much to you want to spend.

my bike does very well against you basic 450's. I still have one hell of a time getting off the line. I've seen some ice cubed 450's w/ pro wedges and 4+ swingers just fly off the starting line.

Cub or Dm cylinder, override trans, lockout, big carbs on alky, drag pipes, lightened chassis, the list goes on.........

okay now we know what you want ...so the question is whats your available budget ? setup is more important than horspower so it will often take more than a kickass screaming motor

if your looking to build a "drag" shee.. and build one right... put asaide at least $3500 for the engine... and that if you go 4mm.. when youi get into the 10mm and thigns liek taht the crank alone os $900-$1000 plus case machining.. then theres the setup things... lightening everything.. and they gotta look good too... i hope you have about $12,000+ to build one the RIGHT way

and remember the #1 rule in drag racing... if you spend the $ to be the fastest.....your never the fastest for long...
