Rear Brake Actuator Removal Ok?

My 2002 Banshee has a brakelight..
I'm cleaning up some wiring and wondered if ok to remove the brake light actuator linked to my brake pedal?
I assume it's ok but need to make sure it won't affect the rest of the wiring/harness. Thanks guys.

if your not running a brake light , yank it off, it won't hurt anything just tape the ends of the wires after your done, or it most likely just uses a plug connector.

Ive never had that thing on any of my banshees, but I dont run any lights either.

I'm keeping the tailight & only want it to light up, don't want the brake light part of it.
Want to make sure I don't kill that light entirely & make sure it doesn't affect anything else by removing that acutator.

only one way to find out just unplug it and see if your tail light still works, if it doesnt' just complete the circuit

True but I have a bunch of stuff off right now & can't kick it over..

will look at the wires and were they go if they dont compelete a circuit then cut and tape off

and this might be off topic but how are those sand hauler whats the brand of them are they any good

On my Blaster I removed the brakelight switch and left the tailight on, it worked fine. I'm not positive on the Banshee but I don't see why it wouldn't be the same.

Does the brakelight still go one when using front brakes?
