hi guys just wanted to post a thread here so i can post some questions. well im taking the crank out and replacing it some one blew this bike up and GOOD!! well im gonna post pics up a lil later so i can show my progress. cut i have 1 question . i havent gotten it apart yet waiting for my flywheel puller. do i have to remove the bolts that are on the bottom of the motor as well? i believe i got them all but not sure. i tried splitting it a lil but it didnt budge.

Yes you do! Two case halfes being held together, remove them!

Use a socket & ratchet.. Flywheel puller won't work on those

hold on what ? climb you gots me all confoosed lol.i was beating on the crank (getting a new one anyway) trying to pop the flywheel off but it didnt work.so i guess i gottsta go to napa and pick 1 up. rj if they dont have one ill be coming to you .

They have a special puller that fits most Yamahas. Never hit the crank even if it's no good, you can damage the case or even break the magnets on the flywheel.

heres some pics . i like the looks of the black and white but that ugly dull red/orange frame needs go anyone have any colors in mind?i want to keep the black and white so it has to match. i freind of mine is giving me some new white ones so i got those covered
