hose/line ?

I just got my first banshee, I am wondering about a rubber hose coming from the case near the swingarm, it runs up and forward and then splits with one line going down toward the case under the carbs, and the other line continuing forward somewhere...

What is this line called, and what does it do ?

nope, black...it's a rubber hose, not a wire.

It's a breather tube for your cases....

Thanks. I know a guy with a banshee with no hoses on the case breathers, is there another style of vent, or is he at risk of getting sand in a bad place ?

He should get the hoses. You don't want any sand mixing with any chemicals at all!
