Default 12 Tooth Front Too Much?

so before when i had my banshee all stock i was using some 22x11x9 6ply gators and i felt a power lose up top and now that i have t-5s and a filter i know i still wont have enough power to reach the full top rpm power, so i was thinking of dropping the front sprocket a tooth or 2 would a 13 be good enough, is 12 over kill?

with t-5s ...go 13.....gators are a REALY heavy tire thats whats sucking your HP i have no probem turning 22-11-9 dirt dogs but there a really light 2 ply tire....but they expand liek mad on top end...like a good 4-6 inchs.....must be why i smokethe 4pokes in 5th lol

try a 13, its really a big difference, if your still not happy, go up 1-2 on yyour rear too

okay thans guys, yeah they are heavy ass tires and wish i didnt get them, i am looking at these for the front what would you go with ?

if your gona get either of those, id get the top one, with the center row of knobs down the middle, that design handles awesome and the steering is great,razr uses that, some itps use it, it works great, never heard of those tires though, and the bottoms look like trash, id definityl get 6 ply tires for the front if your riding XC, who cares about an extra pound or so, especially on the front, if it matters anywhere its the back, b ut even sok, id stick with 6 ply if your riding nasty trails, fast, but..im sure they are charging you shipping for them,the shipping is gona be alot/you may as well save a few extra bucks and order some razr 2's or somethin from rmatv and gettin the free shipping,

nope my dealer supplies these tires which i hate to say it but buying the 2 tires from there i will save money, those tires are completely 100% identical to maxxis razr, its not the shipping that kills its the taxes to get it across and shit it will be 100 bucks just for shipping and taxes and 100 for the the tires off rmatv, so theres 240 (40$ to mount) where at my dealer i can get the tires mounted for 180 so ill go with that

yup i know the quility isnt the same but im not spending 220 a tire at the dealer or 100 for shipping of RMATV
eh i am a canadian lol
but you dont think the 22 will be too heavy, how much heavier is 6 ply from stock like 5 pounds? per tires

dont get 22's your crazy, they are huge, we run some nasty trrails and all use 20's, never had a problem, 22's take away from handling and are heavy as hell
$220 a tire form a dealer? haha, arnt they like $80 a tire for the 20's in rocvky mountain?

who knows, lol all i know is i want to cock slap all the dealers because there prices are way to high and insane, i bought some balljoint for the tierods on the blazer we got and it was 250 bucks wanted to choke someone badly at that point. but i think i am going to go with 21x7x10 then i dont want it to look like a tractor and stock tires say to be 21 but they arnt they are like 19s lol but i think ill go 21s for the front
