| You have to adjust the carrier. There's two bolts that attach it to the swingarm.

| Then cut enough to bring the carrier closer & leave you room to adjust. Same deal on the Blaster today, for some reason it was really loose. Adjusted about a 1.5 inch slack in five min..

| im kind of baffled on this i have never delt with such a weird chain adjusting problem. it seems like if i take 1 link out its to small and way to tight and if i dont take link out is loose as hell. Im going to give it a real good look over tomorrow. My brother had a similar problem on his banshee. and he hasnt messed with his bike since

| huh! i was just thinking about this the other day! my chain was lose, and tightening it became harder then imagined! my thoughts were, with all the years the banshee has been around, you would think they would have a much better system for adjusting the chain! its cheap and flimsy! i have twice before had to replace one of my rear adjustment brackets. once cause it caught a rock and ripped off, and the other cause it stripped out! i have a friend who stripped his out aswell, and had to buy a new bracket! wish i new where i could get a better bracket? those things are POS! |

| I hate the stock carrier. Thank god for rounhouse carriers. The eliminate the stupid tensioners. I chaned the rear shee sprocket last time at the dunes in a few minutes. Two pinch bolts loosen the carrier for adjustment

| yep, thats one of the downfalls of the shee, im about to be in the same boat after another ride or 2,,the stock carrier/chain adjuster setup blows , my friend had the same problem last weekend, way too lose, throwing his chain on hillclimbs, take a link out.. too dam tight... the only way around that is taking out your lower chain roller .. mine is gettin pretty damnn loose right now, im gona wait a couple more rides, then toss the 13t front sprocket on and knock a link out and hopefully itll go back on .. the only real solution is a round house carrier |
