If I have no compression on one side, does that automatically mean I have to rebuild?

yup....proble pull the head off...to makes sure the cyl wall insted screwed befor ording pistons tho

So if the cylinder wall is scarred I have to bore right? If not can I just order new piston kits?

if there not scarred u mite be able to get away with just re ringing them but if it were me id just rebuild it and hone it

Yep got to bore accordingly to the amount of damage to the cylinder walls

and if you cyl ahve been bored allready you gotta order them size of pistons

i would say if you have no compresion and there is no hole in the piston , you'l have to do a bore
